John De Souza is President of Cressy & Everett Real Estate, a 70-year-old independent residential firm of 200 agents serving Northern Indiana and SW Michigan.  During his leadership, the company has become one of the most technically advanced brokerages in the region, while also setting records for customer satisfaction.  He is passionate about finding new ways for REALTORSⓇ to deliver value and provide meaningful consumer experiences.

De Souza began with Cressy & Everett in 2007 after a successful career in technology and management consulting.  He joined the faculty of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business where he taught courses on business technology.  Today he uses his teaching experience throughout his firm and real estate, including at RE BarCamps.  

John serves his fellow REALTORSⓇ through his role as Treasurer for the Indiana Association of REALTORSⓇ, Board Member of the Indiana Regional MLS (IRMLS) and previous roles on various MLS, Associations, and Committees.  He also serves as an advisor to several technology firms.

Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, De Souza earned BA in Management from the University of Notre Dame, and an MBA in Technology Management.
